Hot Dance–But I don’t wanna TALK about it! Camille A. Brown and Dancers at the American Dance Festival

A really interesting troupe is at the American Dance Festival this week, with a program that repeats again tonight, July 11, in Reynolds Theater. Camille A. Brown & Dancers perform Brown’s work, Mr. TOL E. RAncE, with the verve and honesty that the sharply intelligent, dynamic work deserves. But then they want to talk about it, causing, for this viewer, all the accumulated energy and aesthetic excitement to drain quickly away.
